Last updated — 9 October 2026

This notice explains how Lynden Williams Communications uses information connected with www.lynden.net.bs, including seminar inquiries, website messages and browsing. Questions or requests about your information can be sent to change@lynden.net.bs.

Who is responsible

Lynden Williams, Lynden Williams Communications, Nassau, The Bahamas, is responsible for the personal information used to operate this website and respond to inquiries. In this notice, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to that ministry business.

Information you provide

When you contact us through a form, email or Wix Chat, we receive the contact details and message you provide. This may include your name, email address, telephone number, organisation, event preferences and other information needed to discuss your request. Required fields are identified on the relevant form. Without enough contact information, we may be unable to respond or arrange a service.

Where you choose to create a site member account or use public discussion features, Wix processes account and profile information, and content you submit may be visible to other visitors according to the feature and your settings. Do not post information you wish to keep private.

Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, identity documents, health information or confidential pastoral matters through ordinary inquiry forms or chat. A seminar inquiry does not require you to disclose personal religious beliefs or sensitive information about yourself or others.

How and why information is used

Responding to messages: We use your details to answer questions and provide requested information. Where European data-protection law applies, this is based on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or taking steps at your request before entering a contract.

Arranging services: We use relevant information to discuss and deliver conferences, training and other agreed services, on the basis of taking steps before a contract and performing that contract.

Operating and protecting the website: Wix and relevant service providers process technical information such as IP addresses, device and browser information, logs and security events to deliver the website, prevent abuse and maintain reliability. Where applicable, the basis is our legitimate interest in maintaining a secure, working website.

Optional tracking: Where consent is required, optional analytics, preference and marketing technologies must only operate with your consent. You can refuse or withdraw consent without losing access to ordinary information on the website.

Legal requirements: Relevant records may be used to meet applicable legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Contact-form inquiries are not added to a mailing list. Providing contact details to ask a question does not sign you up for marketing emails.

Who receives information

Wix provides hosting and website tools, including forms, chat and member features. Information submitted through these tools may be stored and processed in Wix systems. Email and communications providers also process messages sent through their services. Access should be limited to what is necessary to handle your request, operate the service or meet a legal obligation.

Usercentrics for Wix provides the cookie-consent controls and records visitors’ choices. Other providers may receive information when their optional services are used, as described in the cookie settings and relevant provider notices.

We may disclose relevant information where required by law, to appropriate professional advisers, or where necessary to protect legal rights. This does not mean that all information is routinely shared with all such recipients.

External sites and purchases

The website links to external services, including Logos/Faithlife and social-media platforms. Some Logos links are affiliate links, which can identify a referral and may result in a commission. A purchase made on Logos is handled by Logos under its own terms and privacy notice; this website does not receive the payment-card information you enter there. External sites control their own data collection once you visit them.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. Websites may also use local storage, identifiers and similar technologies. Essential technologies support functions such as security, session management and remembering privacy choices. Optional technologies may support preferences, audience measurement or third-party media and marketing.

The consent panel lists the services detected on this site, their purposes and available details about storage periods. Choose Deny to refuse optional services, Accept All to allow them, or Settings to select your preferences. Use the persistent privacy-settings control to revisit those choices. Withdrawing consent affects future use and does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful.

Browser settings can also delete or block cookies, although blocking essential cookies may affect site features. Choices can be specific to a browser or device; clearing browser storage may require you to choose again.

This site uses Usercentrics for Wix to record consent choices. Installed services include Wix tools and TWIPLA/Visitor Analytics. Open the privacy-settings control to review the service list, available provider details and your choices.

International processing

We are based in The Bahamas. Wix and other providers may process information in other countries. Their applicable privacy notices and data-processing terms describe their locations and safeguards. Where European law applies to a transfer, an appropriate legal transfer mechanism is required, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your information.

How long information is kept

Ordinary inquiry messages and related contact details will be reviewed and deleted within 12 months after the inquiry is closed, unless there is a continuing service relationship or a documented legal reason to retain them. Relevant booking, accounting and dispute records will be kept separately for the period required by the applicable obligation or claim. This is a manual review and deletion policy.

Cookie and consent-record retention depends on the relevant technology and provider. These periods should be available in the consent panel or provider notice. Information no longer needed should be deleted or anonymised, subject to necessary backup and legal-retention arrangements.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the law that applies, you may request access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or a portable copy, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights are subject to applicable conditions and exceptions. You may withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on it.

Send requests to change@lynden.net.bs. Explain your request and the email address or interaction it concerns. We may need proportionate information to confirm your identity. Where GDPR applies, requests are normally answered within one month; if an allowed extension is needed, we will explain it within that period.

You may complain to the relevant data-protection authority. In The Bahamas, this is the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner. Where GDPR applies, you may complain to the supervisory authority in the European country where you live or work, or where an alleged infringement occurred.

Changes and contact

We will update this notice when relevant practices change and show the updated date. Material changes will be brought to visitors’ attention where required.
